Proposed facilitator extension · working title
The Art of Gathering
The intended outcome is to design and practise hosting a simple wellbeing gathering.
For people drawn to hosting small reflective wellbeing groups with clarity, choice and care. The professional scope is limited to the activities taught here; this is not therapy or clinical training.
Proposed intended outcomes
What you would practise.
- Write a clear purpose, scope, welcome and invitation to pass for a simple gathering.
- Respond to common participation, consent and boundary scenarios without interpreting or diagnosing people.
- Plan and practise a short gathering, then revise it using specific feedback.
For example, feedback may identify where an invitation sounds compulsory and help revise it into a genuine choice.
Proposed six-part curriculum
Proposed takeaways
- Gathering planner
- Welcome and closing script prompts
- Consent and group-agreement checklist
- Reflective-activity menu
- Practice-feedback sheet
Scope and practical details
Choice, collaboration, trust and cultural context inform the proposed design, but this is not a trauma-treatment qualification and cannot guarantee that every person will experience a space as safe. Completion would not automatically establish readiness or certification. Assessment, prerequisites, duration and format are still to be confirmed.
