Usui spiritual practice

Usui Reiki with Sarah

Explore personal practice and the art of sharing Reiki with others, guided by Sarah. Our Usui Reiki courses are being thoughtfully developed, with space for learning, practice, reflection and questions.

Reiki is a Japanese spiritual practice. Students will explore its principles and hands-on or hands-off practice as taught within Sarah’s training. These ideas are presented as traditions, not as proven physiological mechanisms or medical treatment.

Proposed intended outcomes

What you would practise.

  • Level 1: describe foundational ideas, prepare for personal practice and communicate consent and preferences.
  • Later practitioner learning: open a session, explain scope, seek consent and respond to feedback within confirmed training boundaries.
  • Later teacher learning: explain and demonstrate taught material, respond to questions and work through student-care scenarios.

For example, observed practice feedback may focus on whether scope and choices were explained clearly—not on whether anyone reported a particular sensation.

In development

Level 1

Foundations & Personal Practice

An introduction to Usui Reiki history and principles, self-practice, consent-led supported practice with others and attunement within Sarah’s lineage.

In development

Level 2

Deepening Practice

A proposed next stage for further teachings, session preparation, ethical communication and supported practice.

Entry requirements and final curriculum will be confirmed before enrolment.

In development

Level 3

Master Practitioner & Teacher

A proposed advanced pathway exploring deeper practice, teaching preparation and student care within Sarah’s lineage.

Completion, teaching scope, readiness and assessment arrangements will be confirmed before enrolment.

What a learning day may include

  • Welcome and questions
  • Explanation and demonstration
  • Breaks
  • Self-practice
  • Supported partner practice with choice and consent
  • Reflection and closing

In-person learning is proposed. The actual duration and venue will be announced when details are confirmed.

Your choice and comfort

  • Participate at your own pace
  • Choose whether to share
  • Discuss hands-off options for practice
  • Request a pause
  • Keep personal health or trauma experiences private

Your permission matters throughout. Hands-off options can be discussed for practice. Any physical contact involved in an attunement will be explained before you enrol. You may decline; Sarah will discuss whether an alternative or a different learning pathway is possible and what this means for completion. Final arrangements remain subject to review of Sarah’s teaching manuals.

You do not need a dramatic spiritual experience. Feeling a lot, a little or nothing in particular is not scored as achievement.

Tradition, evidence & experience

We distinguish what belongs to the Reiki tradition, what research can currently support and what a person notices in their own experience. Research has not clearly established Reiki’s effectiveness for health conditions or its proposed energy mechanism. Personal meaning is not dismissed, but no treatment promise is made. Sarah’s broader shamanic and psychic studies are not presented as Usui curriculum or proof of special powers.

Planned student resources

  • Original Wild Wellness student manual — planned
  • Practice journal — planned
  • Practical-learning checklist — planned
  • Follow-up support arrangements — to be confirmed

These resources are planned and are not yet available to view or download. Optional Reiki practice gatherings may be developed in the future. They are not currently bookable.
